Birth Certificate: If your country issues a long and short form of the birth certificate, you must bring the long form.

Police Report: The police report is valid only for 3 months, since it is issued at the police station up to the presentation at the consulate. It can be from a local police station (not fingerprint required at this point).

Interpol search: This is made in Costa Rica, you will have to take fingerprints in San Jose. We suggest to take them as soon as you come to Costa Rica, even if you are not going to apply right away.
Marriage License: only if your spouse is applying too.

Other: See your status to check the specific requirement of that status.

All documents must be translated. If your documents are in englis or French, we do translate them at no cost. If they are in a different language, you must translate them in the country of origin, of take them to an official translator in Costa Rica.
